Saturday afternoon I met Daryl for a afternoon and evening of fishing. We got together around 2pm and got things together and away we went. We were greeted by a very quick, strong thunderstorm. We found shelter on the Penny Road bridge. After that we set out to a point we had fished a couple of weeks before and I caught a small white bass.
Then we spent the next couple of hours searching for the right spot. We had no results. It wasn't until around 6:30pm Daryl caught a 1pd largemouth bass. About 7pm we tried a more shaded area and struck gold or I should say Daryl did. He realed in a 2.2pd largemouth bass with using a lure he had purchased earlier in the week. And let me tell you, that was the biggest bass I had ever seen in person. Then not even 30min. later he landed a whopper that he reeled in all the way to the boat and got of the hook. Now folks I am not lying when I tell you the head on this thing was freakin huge. It had to have been atleast over 5pds. That is a big fish folks. We had a great time with a few "hang ups". It was a great of fishing.
