Winter Camping

The reward of camping is simply having the opportunity to go outdoors and view Creation. Many people think of winter camping as uncomfortable and a little crazy. Not me. I think about no bugs, no snakes, and hopefully no man eating wildlife. There is nothing more rewarding than after a long days hike, coming back to cook steaks of the fire. For five years my friends and I have made the trip to the Southwest part of the state to camp in the Pisgah National Forest. I leave in a few days for trip number 4 to Panthertown Valley and I am so excited. I hope to bring back stories of adventure and laughter.
