With a crack of the wipe, and a turn of the cheek, Santa flew up the chimney. And Christmas day dawned. I think the actual arrival time of Santa was between the hours or 3am and 6am. I was awakened by a excited little seven year old boy at 7:30am in the morning. Jumping up and down exclaiming it was Christmas morning. Yeah, no coffee, no food I struggled to open my eyes and struggled harder to smile. Then my stocking was handed to me and it was like I was seven years old again myself. The joy I had longed for all season hit me like a ton of bricks and I watched in awe as my son opened gift after gift. His face was lit up like the lights on the Christmas tree. Even though Beth and I didn't exchange to many gifts we couldn't help thinking we are fortunate to have each other and a wonderful family.

Hey Ya'll
Ah.....Christmas time again. Starbucks has been one big mad house of peppermint mocha's and gift card sales. The most I sold was to a woman who bought 9 $20 gift cards. Wow you do the math. Starbucks rocks. I got a promotion two weeks ago. I am now a shift supervisor. A small raise and a little extra responsibility. I have come home exhausted from being full speed from the time I walk into the door until the time I leave. Which is great because time moves forward very quickly.
I told everyone I was working on a website. And I have been. I have a temporary page with some unedited music. I say unedited because they are mostly what you call scratch tracks. Please check out the website at www.thadhelderman.com. I have been working a little bit at a time spreading my time between designing the rest of the site and working on my cd. I have still been battling hearing my voice with the music. My vocal patterns tend to change a great deal. So I will say the tracks you hear are not the final vocal tracks. Just ideas.
Christian is so excited about Christmas. It makes me look forward to Christmas morning and watching his face light up. It makes me think of the year I got my first Transformer. I got the Optomis Prime. I did not get one of those chency plastic ones. It was the real thing. It was diecasted and it was the shizzle. If anyone is thinking of any last minute gift ideas, all I want for Christmas is a new Xbox 360, Xbox 360, Xbox 360. And a little private time with my wife. HeHe. And that is The World According to Thad.

I am Back
Well what could I possibly tell you that you haven't heard from a friend or loved one lately. Things are busy and about to get a bit more hectic. Congratulations to my wife Beth for her acceptance to HPU. She has worked extremely hard to get in for this semester starting on her birthday of all days. Christian is doing really well at school. I am working a good bit and received a small promotion to a shift supervisor at Starbucks. It will give me a couple more hours a week and a small raise. Still working in and out of Winston for Maxx. Jason and I have been enjoying working out of Greensboro the last couple of weeks. It has been a needed change of scenery for us both. I went camping the weekend of Thanksgiving and had a wonderful time. We camped in the Pisgah National Forest around the Barnett Bridge Trail. Heard some coyote's and a few deer during the dark hours. It was a good bonding time for the band. This morning it is cold and rainy as most of you have already figured out. It would be cool to see some snowflakes, I guess they are saying we could see some later today. So I hope things are well in your world. Take care. Peace
